Please read before submitting: Applications may be submitted any time and artist/mentor matches will be made on an individual basis. Please submit 3–4 samples showing a range of your work or direct us to a web site where they are available. Please enclose a short bio or resume. Please give us permission to have your work shown on our web site and a link to your web page. Can you recommend any young artists, 13–25 years of age, that would fit into this program? They need to have talent, passion and the desire to become a professional artist. Please give us their name, art form and contact information or call us. Mentors can be paid for their time. Rates will be negotiated…pending funding, of course. A contract will be signed with Art Without Limits and with the Aspiring Artist. Background checks will be made, according to our insurance recommendations. We will arrange a personal interview, studio inspection and possible insurance needs. There may be some OSHA/Govt Agency requirements re minor students, volatile liquids, machinery, etc. We will set up guidelines for good mentorship, including expected behavior and goals with young artists. You will set up goals with your young artist and Art Without Limits with periodic evaluation. Call if you have ANY questions.
