Emerging Artist Update: Tom Pazderka

When Tom had contacted Art Without Limits about being mentored, he was new to the area and interested in assistance creating his community of artists. We reached out to Colleen M. Kelly, who, like Tom, is an installation artist, painter, and sculptor. They met at an AWoL BizArts Workshop and hit it off!

Now, we hear that Tom is due to become an officially represented artist by Silo 118 and recently has sold one of his works, Nostalgie VII!

Moreover, he plans to teach two courses in October and November with the Carpinteria Arts Center focusing on his own studio techniques. Click the links for more information.

Besides being an artist, Tom is also a contributor to LUM Art Zine, which is a local online publication detailing the happenings and goings on in the SoCal regional art scene. One of his first articles highlighted Barry McGee, the artist currently on view at the Museum of Contemporary Art – Santa Barbara.

Clearly the countless hours in the studio and hard work have paid off and we are so proud of him. Keep up the great work Tom!
